Anna Hadleigh Kennedy, daughter of Jenna & Rick (McNeilly) Kennedy, went to heaven on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her mommy and daddy. She leaves her big sister, Avaya (8 years), and big brother, Ellis (2 years). Anna will be remembered and deeply missed by her grandparents, Avril and Derek McNeilly, and her great grandparents, Winifred Watson, and Elsie and Ivan McNeilly, and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Poppa George Watson, Grandma Nikki Jeffrey, and Grandpa Rick Kennedy greeted Anna in heaven.

Anna was born on July 21, 2022 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, ON. Anna then fought hard while at SickKids Hospital. She showed incredible strength through two complex surgeries and several medical interventions in her short two weeks of life. She is now in the loving arms of Jesus without pain or suffering.

Jenna and Rick would like to sincerely thank their families, friends, colleagues, the Bethel church family, the SickKids CCCU medical teams, and staff at Ronald McDonald House. It was a journey that no parent wishes to travel but the love and support has truly been a blessing.

Friends and family are invited to Anna’s visitation on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford. Anna’s funeral service will be held at Confederation Park (Stratford), adjacent to the Butterfly Bridge (by the waterfall), on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11 a.m. Please bring a lawn chair and, in case of rain, an umbrella.
